What your evaluation includes

A paced, respectful conversation

You do not need to share every detail of what happened. We focus on how symptoms affect your life now, at a pace that feels manageable.

Validated screening

Standardized measures help clarify whether symptoms fit PTSD or another trauma-related condition, and let us track progress over time.

Related concerns

Trauma often travels with depression, anxiety, sleep problems, and substance use. We screen for these so your plan addresses the whole picture.

Treatment options

Trauma-focused therapy is one of the most effective treatments for PTSD, and psychiatric care works alongside it. Medication options can include antidepressants with evidence for PTSD, as well as targeted support for sleep and nightmares. We start carefully, check in regularly, and adjust based on how you are doing.

Common questions

Can PTSD be treated through telehealth?

No. The evaluation focuses on your current symptoms and needs. You decide how much to share.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, through Zocdoc. When you book, Zocdoc shows whether your plan is accepted. Private-pay options are also available.

How long is the first visit?
